- Our Service Policy - Our Policy- By making a payment for our services—whether by cash, check, credit, or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, or other accepted forms)—through our online payment processing system Skimmer, you agree to the following policies and acknowledge our commitment to professionalism and work ethic. - 1. Payments - Invoices are issued on the 20th of each month for that month’s service.
- If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday and no charge appears that day, billing will occur on the next business day.
- Payment is due by the 5th of the following month (e.g., an invoice dated January 20, 2025 for January service must be paid on or before February 5, 2025).
- A 4% processing fee applies to online credit/debit card payments.
- Clients paying by check should allow sufficient mailing time. We do not charge late fees if checks arrive by the 5th, but payment must be received no later than the 10th to avoid penalties (see Section 2).
- Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee plus any applicable bank charges.
 - 2. Late Payment Policy - Payments are due on the 1st and must be received by the 10th of the month.
- If payment is not received by the 10th, a late fee of 10% of the balance or $10 (whichever is greater) will be applied on the 11th.
 - Exceptions: - On the first late payment, fees may be waived after account review.
- A second late payment may also be considered for waiver upon review.
- After a third late payment, all late fees will be automatically applied and no further waivers will be granted.
 - 3. Service Calls - Regular maintenance is included in your service agreement.
- Service calls requested outside of scheduled service days/hours start at $135.
- Additional treatments (e.g., algaecide, phosphate removal, stain treatments) start at $300 and up, depending on pool condition.
- Any extra work outside of your plan will be quoted and approved before proceeding.
 - 4. Chemicals & Water Quality - Standard chemicals are included unless otherwise stated.
- If pool conditions change significantly (heavy usage, weather, poor circulation, or water loss due to a leak), additional chemicals may be billed separately.
- If we notify the customer of a leak and it is not repaired, we are not responsible for water quality issues, increased chemical use, or related costs caused by continued water loss.
- Customers must maintain proper water levels and equipment function for effective service.
 - 5. Equipment & Repairs - We are not responsible for equipment failures, leaks, or plumbing issues outside of regular maintenance.
- Repairs and installations will be quoted separately. Warranties are honored through the manufacturer, when applicable.
 - 6. Cancellations & Termination - Service can be canceled at any time with 14 days’ written notice.
- No refunds will be issued for unused partial service months.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for non-payment or unsafe working conditions.
 - 7. Liability - We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, structural issues, or improper pool/equipment use.
- Customers are responsible for keeping the pool area safe, accessible, and free of hazards (including pets).
 - 8. Work Ethic & Commitment - We pride ourselves on professionalism, reliability, and quality of service. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge our policies and agree to partner with us in keeping your pool safe, clean, and enjoyable.
 - 9. Cancellation of Service for Past-Due Accounts - Accounts with balances unpaid after the 10th of the following month will incur late fees as outlined in Section 2.
- If an account remains past due for more than 30 days, we may suspend or cancel pool service until the balance is paid in full.
- Continued non-payment may result in permanent termination of service and referral of the account for collection.
 - 10. Policy & Quote Revisions - This Pool Service Policy may be updated or revised at any time. Any changes will apply to services rendered after the updated policy is issued.
- Quotes and estimates are valid only until their stated expiration date (or for 30 days if no date is shown). After a quote expires, a new one will be issued, and pricing or terms may differ based on current conditions.
